Inspect the tack cloth periodically to see how much dust you are collecting and change the tack cloth whenever it gets dirty. By any chance if any oily substance sticks with the wood mineral spirits can help to remove it. Mix the cleaner according to the instructions on the bottle and allow it to soak into the wood for 15 minutes.
